The old asbestos cement roof is carefully removed following safe handling procedures to minimize fiber release. The sheets are removed intact where possible, lowered to ground level (not dropped), and stacked on heavy-duty polythene sheeting. They are then wrapped in two layers of polythene and sealed with tape to create safe packages. These packages are labeled with asbestos warning information and transported by our licensed waste carriers to an authorized asbestos disposal facility. You'll receive waste consignment documentation confirming proper disposal as part of our service.

In most cases, replacing an existing asbestos garage or shed roof with a similar material does not require planning permission, as it's considered a like-for-like repair. However, if you're significantly changing the roof's height, shape, or appearance, or if your property is in a conservation area, listed, or subject to specific planning conditions, permission may be required.
